Beauty Review – Skinfood Bird’s Nest Mask

The following review is of my personal opinion and what I experienced may not be what you experience since everyone is different.

Coming out of the pouch, originally, I thought this mask looked to be too large for my face like the Nature Republic masks.  However, it turns out it’s not.  The size is somewhere between the Innisfree masks and the Nature Republic ones (with Innisfeee ones fitting me the best out of the three).

The serum is very milky (vs watery).  With it on my face, I don’t feel the skin “drinking” in the goodness like I sometimes do with the other masks.  After completion, my face feels very sticky.  I expected the stickiness to go away after a while but it didn’t.  It felt like there is a sticky film over my face.  It does get a little better after applying a moisturizer but not much.

Overall, I do not really like how sticky my face feels afterwards.  My skin also doesn’t feel noticeably more hydrated afterwards.  I would recommend you try the Innisfree masks over these if you are in the market for a new mask.

Beauty Review – Peach & Lily Good Skin Day Mask

The following review is of my personal opinion and what I experienced may not be what you experience since everyone is different.

Upon opening the packet, this mask was messily folded in such a way that it took some untangling to open and apply.  However, the product was drenched in serum although there was little serum left in the packet after removing the mask.  This is a good thing.  Less wasted product.

The mask felt a little tingly.  There was a sensation where it felt like my skin was drinking up the serum as well.  The scent is pleasant.  It is a little floral but not overpowering in any way.  It was more like a subtle background smell.  It kind of reminds me of the smell of lotion.

After removing the mask, I still feel the remaining serum on my face absorbing into my skin.  My face feels slightly sticky afterwards though.

For the cost of the mask, I think the Innisfree ones are a better buy.  Although this is a good mask, it doesn’t stand out to me and I feel that the Innisfree ones are better economically if you plan on doing daily masking.

Beauty Review – Nature Republic Real Nature Mask Sheet (Aloe)

The following review is of my own personal opinion and what I experienced may not be what you experience since everyone is different.

The serum on this sheet mask is clear and liquidy.  Like the other Nature Republic masks I’ve tried so far, this mask is a little larger than my face and extends past my hair line a little.  I used a headband when using the mask since I don’t like getting the product in my hair.  The serum smells like a cucumber melon and is light and refreshing.  The smell is not strong so may be ok for those who are sensitive to scents.

Although the serum is light in consistency, it leaves the face very sticky after use.  It is too sticky to even apply a moisturizer on top of it.  The serum doesn’t feel heavy on the face but if you put your fingers to your face, you will feel that it is sticky.  Personally, I do not like the sticky feeling so do not recommend this mask for those of you who feel the same.  However, it is typical of aloe to be a sticky substance so it may not be a bad thing.  I just don’t like the feeling of the stickiness myself and would recommend you try the Innisfree aloe mask instead of this one if you are in the market for a new sheet mask.
